Umm….So, we got a little carried away.Aaakhir, dil toh BITSian hain. We were having our own gala time at Dubai World Trade Centre. But you would too, with the glitz and glamour of this Night!
The dazzling lights, the hall embellished in classy blue and white decor and everyone dressed to the nine-a feast for the eyes! The hall becomes more vivacious with the mellifluous melody of Ms. Shobhna, the Master of Ceremonies who sings old Hindi songs that transports us to another world. And those college memories with our buddies flashes through our minds.
Vice Chairman of BGM 2017 Organizing Committee , Mr. Ashok Galgotia,warmly welcomes everyone. He is an alumnus of the 1975-1980 batch of BITS Pilani, based in the UAE since 1986. Along with Sri Bharat Narayan ji, he was instrumental in forming the BITS Alumni Association, UAE chapter and organizing events since 1989.

His excellency, Mr Talmiz Ahmad who is an IFS officer of the 1974 batch shares his thoughts on how we Indians can advance and prosper. Having served in various positions in Indian foreign missions, he went on to become the Indian ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Oman and the UAE. He is a recipient of the King Abdul Aziz Medal for his contributions to the promotion of Indo- Saudi relations. He has authored several books and brings to us today his vast and varied experience of life.
